A great week in the studio in Nashville!
Oct 5, 2008
I have been recording with top notch studio musicians in Nashville! This has been a longtime dream for me!

This opportunity was made possible because our Greg Michaels won a songwriting contest through Canadian Trucker Radio for the song he wrote for REDHILL entitled "Just Another Day". His prize was to head to Nashville and record three songs at Hilltop Studios with some great musicians! Producer Tony Mantor of Plateau Music brought in Tom Wild, Joe Spivey, Dave Pomeroy, Bruce Bouton, Shane Keister, and William Ellis to record the songs. Our friend Chuck Thompson of Thompson Entertainment Group was there to help us out, and snap photos for the contest press release. (We love you Chuck! Always there for support.) The session seemed like it lasted about five minutes! What a rush!

Greg and I headed to Tony's studio for the next three nights to focus on vocals for the tracks, and dialed in things nicely. It was very hard work!

Vicki Carrico, and Michael Black will be doing hamonies on the tracks this week. The songs sounded amazing so far, and I cannot wait to hear the final product!!

I want to thank everyone who made this wonderful experience possible. You know who you are :D
