Hello everyone and Happy Holidays!
I want to thank all of you generous, kind hearted people that came out to the Songs For The Shelter Concert at the Vintage Tavern on Tuesday night.
I'm so excited to tell you that together we raised over five thousand in donations for Safe Horizons! Many others also donated services and products for those using the shelter. A special thanks goes out to Jeff Payton and the Vintage Tavern for letting us have the concert there, and thank you to all you wonderful people in the community and beyond, who came out and supported the event. Also thank you to those who donated your time and services in order to make the concert go smoothly. Thank you to the Rogues (Nolan, Roscoe and Anamaria) for helping me put on a concert for all of you. You all rock!
I get emotional when I see what our community can do when we work together! You've just helped empower people to live lives free from domestic violence and homelessness. Bravo to all of you! I plan on making this a yearly event, so if you're interested in getting involved, please contact me in July :)
