Is Your Heart In It?

Hello friends and happy spring!

I've enjoyed seeing so many of you out at my shows both in Michigan and in Florida. Last weekend, I had a beautiful little singer join me on the stage. Sophie Schipinski came to my show with her family and wanted to sing. I could tell she was maybe a little nervous, and my heart was full as I looked down at her hand printed lyrics of "Amazing Grace." I know I couldn't have done that at her age, and she did it so well. I enjoyed her performance so much! There have been so many moments like that over the years, and I feel blessed by the wonderful people I've met along the way.

April is one busy month and will take me on many trips from Indiana to Harbor Springs! I have several shows this month with Michelle Chenard including a candlelight dinner at the Lone Oak Vineyard Estates on April 9th. Call 517-522-8167 for tickets. Reservations are a must!. I will also be on PBS "Detroit Performs" on April 12th at 7:30 pm with the Rogues. We taped the show at the beautiful Howell Opera House last month. Next month has me flying to England and France to perform and write songs with Gary Hannan, and we have a great show coming up on June 10th at the Lexington Village Theatre with Chas Sandford and Dave Gibson called the "Stories Behind The Songs". I'm over the moon excited to perform with these three number one hit songwriters. Tickets are available here while they last!

Finally, I would like to thank all of my peers who have nominated me for four 2016 Detroit Music Awards. I'm honored and delighted by this. I'll be performing with Jill Jack and the Detroit Women's Project at the Detroit Music awards on April 29th at the Fillmore in Detroit! Thank you for casting a vote in my direction!
